SEATTLE - A good start to the season is exactly what the doctor ordered for this exciting new Bears team. While they did lose two in a row, they have started fairly strong with 6 wins, 2 losses, and 2 overtime losses. This puts them in third place in the North American Conference and fourth place in the league overall. Not bad for a team that was supposed to be rebuilding this season.

 

“Well, that’s probably because our GM took a different approach. Sort of an… active rebuild, I suppose. While they are developing younger prospects and planning to build a competitive team for years to come, they also brought in some experienced players who can play really well and lead us to wins. Em Em Flex is playing really well, especially as a rookie goaltender. Vinny is a master at hitting other players and I’m doing what I can. Sven is doing really well for his rookie campaign as a defenseman and Lose and Thightrap are leading the charge in terms of offense. So far, this team is looking competitive. We’re rough, we hit, but we can also score thanks to the skilled forwards and defensemen that joined this off-season. And Flex is absolutely outstanding between the pipes. We're the Bears.
