Pretty Damn Good - Seattle Bears

SEATTLE - The Bears have looked real good. The fans are happy, the new acquisitions are tearing it up on the ice, and Vinny Detroit is still as physical as ever. Sigard is also fairly happy, though he wishes he could contribute more.

 

“I don’t hit, I don’t score, I don’t really do anything I set out to do.” Sigard Petrenko admitted after a practice. “However, as long as the team is winning, I think I’ll be fine. I just need to make sure I do my part when I can. Whether it’s a hit, a shot block, a pass, or if I’m lucky, a goal. I just want to make sure that I’m contributing somehow. This team is a great team, Thornton and Odinsson have been excellent linemates; I’m just worried that I’ll end up slowing the team down.”

 

Seattle was not expected to be as good as they are right now. They were supposed to be rebuilding. Well, they still are, but their General Manager decided they might as well still be competitive.

 

With young Vinny leading the charge and Sigard learning how to adjust his game, the future of the Bears looks bright. But their present is pretty damn good too.
