Exclusive Interview with Mikko

Good afternoon, hockey fans! This is Manny McMuscleman here. Today we are going to have a special guest, rising star Mikko Koskinen. Alright, Mikko can you hear me?

 

MK:  Yep, loud and clear.

 

MM: Great. Now, you just played in your fifth game last night, which was a 5-4 win over the Wild. You assisted on Lukas Nykvist's 51st goal of the season, and overall you had a pretty good game. How do you think you have been playing?

 

MK: I'm not too impressed with my own play, if I am completely honest. That was only my second assist of the season and I have yet to put one in the back of the net. Luckily, Brampton is a great team and doesn't rely on me quite yet. I do want to be more of an impact player for the Blades, and there is still a lot of time for me to improve my play and become a bigger part. 

 

MM: Seeing as you came into the VHLM halfway through the season, what are your plans for next year?

 

MK: Well, I will be going into the VHL Entry Draft at the end of the season with low expectations. I know that other rookies have had a lot longer to get ready for the VHL, and I know I will just be lucky to get draftted. I am much more concerned with who drafts me rather than when they draft me.

 

MM: And do you plan on playing the next season in the VHL?

 

MK: Not really, I would like to get a chance at a full season with Brampton and see how that plays out first.
