After a fairly slow start to the season for Brennan McQueen being under a point per game for half the season, he's picked up the pace lately. Currently he's on a league leading 15 point scoring streak and also a 5 game goal scoring streak to put him at 69 points in 59 games. He's also been climbing the hits list and is up to top 3.

 

As of now it's unlikely that McQueen repeats for the third time as the Scott Boulet winner but if he can continue the rest of the season at this pace it's possible that he makes the ballot and then anything can happen.

 

More importantly the Riga Reign are looking to pick up pace and get a huge winning streak on the go before the playoffs come around. Riga has been looked at as supposed to be a contender the past two seasons but never could pull it off. With additions at this deadline, fans are hoping that this can be the year.
