Amazingly Girts Galvins has not scored a goal yet this season for Warsaw. The rookie sniper had made a name for himself over the past 2 season in the VHLE and VHLM racking up 75 goals between two leagues, however it's not been so easy in the VHL through his first 11 games. Galvins is trying his best out there but just not getting it done so far. He's not taking a ton of shots either, only 23 through 11 games, so that's a contributing factor as well. Warsaw has struggled a bit as a team before winning two games today so hopefully Girt Galvins can score some goals soon and help the team win more games, otherwise he may have to add to checking so he can at least do something exciting out there! We have to think the Latvian sniper gets a goal soon, but any hopes of rookie of a year are pretty much out the window. It's ok because he's young and on a talented team like Warsaw he's not a go-to player yet, but he hopes to help the team soon with some clutch goals. Stay tuned!
