Hogan 1,423
Currently Seattle stands at an impressive 19-3-1. The only other team to stand close to this is Riga at 18-2-3. Both of these teams seem to be immediate favourites to win the cup. Riga currently holds the best goal differential with a 42 compared to Seattle's 40. Riga has a strong team offensively with Miklav leading the way at 47 points while Johnson and Sandstrom have both reached the 40 mark. Nobody on Seattle has hit the 40 point mark yet, with Chara leading the team at 38. Riga seems to be a better team defensively with more shot blocks and depth hitting while Seattle is a more top heavy hitting team with league bad guy Vinny Detroit in their ranks. Goalies wise, Seattle has the lead as Em Em Flex leads the league in goals against and has a solid .927. In comparison, Riga has Tobias Reinhart in net who boasts a 2.09 goals against and a .924. Overall, it seems as if these two teams will be battling all season and potentially into the playoffs. diacope 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/120530-seattle-vs-riga/ Share on other sites
