Harumpf 313
...of losing the series? Hard to believe after they stormed out to a 2-0 series lead on the road, but they've now dropped 3 in a row including a double overtime heart breaker in game 5. Many people are shocked by the fact that the Blades not only tied the series but then went up a game after being down 2-0 with both losses at home. The Wild played well in game 3, but dropped that one 6-5. Then they had a complete meltdown in game 4, only taking 9 shots on goal compared to 43 by the Blades. Game 5 was the rubber match and they played a great game, outshooting the Blades 39-34, but they could not get the go ahead goal. Game 5 ended in double overtime and was a heart breaking defeat for the Wild. They now return home for game 6 and it's a must win situation. They know they can beat this team and win back to back games, so while the double OT loss hurts, they are confident they can come back and win this series. They have an awesome goalie, great defense and 2 killer forward lines that are all capable of stepping up. The time is now and the Saskatoon Wild better bring their A game or they will have a disappointing end to a great season.
