ThePerfectNut 563
Daniel Weaver Junior Review Daniel Weaver is a kid born in Australia, in Melbourne to be more specific. He first discovered hockey by watching his uncle (Nathan Weaver) playing in a small rec league with roller skates. Afterward, Daniel Weaver discovered ice hockey by watching it on the television and instantly fell in love with it. He asked Nathan Weaver if he could teach him everything about Hockey. Daniel Weaver was only 7 years old at the time. He learned that hockey was not an individual sport, but a team sport. You need to become a good skater, a good shooter, and a team player with many others skills if you ever wanted to become successful in ice hockey. Hockey could become a job and a career for you and if you go far, you can get set up for life just by playing your favorite sport. Daniel Weaver was a natural at it, he displayed good offensive talents with great speed and stickhandling in front of his uncle. After witnessing his talents, Nathan Weaver decided that he should compete in games to showcase his talents in Australia. Fast forward 9 years later, Daniel Weaver is 16 years old and has become the youngest player in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL) and is of course playing with the Melbourne Ice hockey team. He was the second-leading scorer in the league with 39 goals and 28 assists for 67 points in 25 games in his rookie season. First place was Tim Crowder with 36 goals and 41 assists for 77 points in 26 games. Unfortunately, Daniel Weaver team did not make the playoff, but his amazing growth, talent, and stats have drawn some attention from the Victory Hockey Minor League. A few months later, the Victory Hockey Minor League was at the trade deadline and Daniel Weaver received a couple of contract offers to join a team for a playoff push. After thinking long and hard, Daniel Weaver did not accept any of the contracts because he felt he had a need to win a championship for his hometown team in the Australian Ice Hockey League, but he has declared for the Victory Hockey Minor League draft for the upcoming season. 5 months later, Daniel Weaver did end up winning the championship and has officially flown to United State where his new journey will be beginning. All eyes will be on him as he will become one of the lotteries picks for the Victory Hockey Major League. Hopefully, he will have a successful career ahead of him. 423 words Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/121102-daniel-weaver-junior-review/ Share on other sites
