Preparation for the S84 VHLM Draft

After the Junior Showcase Tournament, Alfred Champagne decided to take a little break before starting his training for next season.

Even if he doesn't know for which team he will play, he can still practice his skills and prove that he should be a high draft pick.

 

If a team is looking for a physical presence on the wing with some scoring ability plus a relatively good defensive player, he's your guy. 

He will probably not be a center in the VHL, but in the minor, his strength will help him to be versatile.

 

His stickhanling ability will get better later in his career when he will have to face the pros and he will also need to learn to control his emotions and not get stupid penalties. He's sometime too involved in the game and only want to hit everybody, but sometimes you need to think on the ice to know where the puck is going to be to be able to make hockey plays.

 

The Draft is a stressful event, but if everything goes well, it can forge a great future.
