With the first set of games just sims yesterday I will try to predict the season and where each team will end up in the standing. In my last season 1 I did say Moscow and Dc while be the two best team after watching the preseason. We all know what happen to DC but I was right for 50 % of the team that I predict so its still good in my opinion.

 

Lets start with the easiest team the bottom team, The Prague Phantoms who are in a complete rebuild only keeping 1 active player who is Perry Laperriere in their line up. They did decide to tank in my opinion in what is the best time possible with the Europe Conference being really competitive and no one except them are really tanking.

 

New York Americans, they have a great defensive squad and a great young goalie, yes defensive win championship, but they don’t win if no one can score they have some okay player but nothing spectacular, and I hope for them that their quantity is better then quality in term of prospect. In their pool of prospect I think only  5 will make a big impact on that team in term of trade value or on the ice and adding to that Bouchard and Kennedy its okay, just not great.

 

DC Dragons, they are definitely higher then third last, but Dmax have put them 1st so I need to come here and be a bad guy to humble them a little. I personally like the team a lot, but I guess mister STHS doesn’t.

 

Los Angeles, a young team looking in who could surprise everyone and be competing for a spot in the wildcard round same as New York they have a lot of prospect, but a little of them are top tier prospect. But a new GM entering and I am interesting what they will do with their next draft pick.

 

Malmo Nighthawks another team that could surprise the world with LA young team looking in to surprise everyone. I hope a LA vs Malmo final just for people to get angry like always. That just every season.

 

Now we are looking in the team that anything could happen any team in that list could make the final. DC should be in that group but they need to be humble a bit after the Dmax article.

 

Vancouver wolves, the weird team something could happen that Telker carry the team in offense, Moreau carry the team in defense and Fuhr being a wall it most likely will not happen. But we never know.

 

London United, they have a 6 forward 4 defenseman lineup, but in term of tpa that team is not  looking that good no player over 400 tpa while most team have at least 2 to 4 player with 500 tpa to have a chance to win the cup.

 

Toronto, I personaly think Lindbergh and Atreides can carry that team in the playoff to the cup, but I need to have the minimal sense as possible all their defenseman all almost the same I don’t want a defenseman who skate hit and pass on the same line.
