Plot Twist - Thunder v Payne

At the start of season 84, the trash talking Jake Thunder endlessly nagged at the hard working Warsaw Predator defender, Brian Payne.  Whether it was on the VHL forum, at work, or menacing texts at all hours of the night.  Thunder used every technique in his tool box to get under Payne’s skin.  Thunder couldnt go any lower, yet Payne kept his head high and proved his value on the ice.

 

Brian Payne has become a star defenseman for the Predators and punishes the opposing teams while Jake Thunder sporadically contributes to the Davos Dynamo, and that’s when he’s not sitting in the penalty box.

 

All the hype and excitement finally came to fruition when Warsaw faced Davos in game #23, only to have Thunder get his ass kicked by Bogdan Trunav.  Since then, Payne has continued to get stronger, faster, and more powerful, while Thunder has barely improved.

 

Did Jake Thunder learn his lesson from game #23, or will his mouth get the best of him when Warsaw and Davos face off again in game #314?  It’s unlikely that Brian Payne will do anything but keep his head to the grind and continue to help the Predators.  Only time will tell…
