When Sunglasses Joyo decided that he was going to play minor-league hockey, collegiate-basketball, and professional Rocket League simultaneously, some questioned whether the man was spreading himself to thin. Indeed, some of these questions seem to be valid.

How would he change the dimensions of his body so drastically while also playing center in basketball?

Does he know how to skate?

Has he ever experienced a world where he was not wearing sunglasses?

Most of these questions have been somewhat answered by now, as Sunglasses Joyo continues to make all who chose to doubt him look like fools, soaring his way towards becoming a competent minor league Hockey player.

"The kids in school used to pick on him about how he could never grow up to be a minor-league hockey player, and I think that ended up really motivating my sweet Sunglasses Joyo" said the mother of the 1st-year center in an unprompted voice mail she left for several local news agencies.

Sunglasses Joyo has had some impressive moments with the Halifax 21st. He has 18 assists through 23 games (to go along with 7 goals), and he also has the 2nd best +/- on the team at +5.

Perhaps Sunglasses Joyo's biggest impact has been off the ice though, as his presence has unveiled a deep discriminatory attitude from the VHLM executives and referees against players who wear sunglasses. Consider:

VHLM game 165: Halifax 21st win 2-1.  Sunglasses Joyo assists the game-tying goal, and then scores the game-winning goal in the shootout   Sunglasses Joyo is still not named a top-3 star.

Neither Sunglasses Joyo nor his mother will stand for this treatment in the future.
