Vasteras makes trades to push for the Championship

In preparation for the upcoming playoffs the Vasteras Iron Eagles have made a couple trades. They have added Left Wing Justin Adolfson and Defenseman Matty Live. 

 

Justin Adolfson is a rugged, hard hitting forward who has the ability to put the puck in the net and play strong defensively. The Vasteras Iron Eagles look forward to having Justin Adolfson contribute over the remainder of the season and into the playoffs. The offensive talent this player brings will be a big asset in pushing towards the championship. Justin Adolfson will join offensive strengths Phoebe Bridgers and Dogwood Maple on the first line. The combination of these three players is expected to produce some fantastic goals. 

 

Matty Live is a solid stay at home defenseman who shows glimpses of offensive talent. The Vasteras Iron Eagles look forward to having Matty Live on the team. The strong defensive play of Matty Live will help in both 5 on 5 play as well as the penalty kill. Matty Live is expected to play with Faith Hope Love, and the two of them should form a formattable defensive squad that should be able to slow down and even stop the top offensive teams in the VHLE. 

 

Most members of the media agree that GM Arce has made two blockbuster moves that will position the Vasteras Iron Eagles as strong contenders for the VHLE Championship this Season. Hopefully these players can quickly get accustomed to the playing style and managerial style of the team, becoming highly contributing members. There is a growing buzz in the VHLE about the Vasteras Iron Eagles, this may be their year.
