Shining in Sin City

VHL.com recently caught up with Las Vegas Aces' center and usually quiet Fred Hampton walking out of an after party for Usher's Residency at the Dolby Digital Theater.  While enjoying his night at "On The Record" across the casino from the concert hall, here's what he had to say about the current Ace experience:

 

"Playing for Las Vegas has been amazing this season.  The coaching staff has been communicative and impressive.  My agency has commented that this was very different than with their previous player.  This style of leadership of course has been very helpful in allowing me to contribute to the team's success this season.  To get a season long focus for my skills has been amazing and I've been putting in the small amount of work each week in order to make that happen.  As a result of this leadership, the entire team is shining and that's not a coincidence.  I'm hoping that we can continue to play well as a team and bring a title back to Las Vegas for our entire organization, fans, and the city of Las Vegas.  Let's go Aces!"
