Anthique 221
The first season of the career of Alfred Champagne is over. After being drafted by the San Diego Marlins, he played the first 29 games of his career for them before getting traded. In those 29 games, he put 9 goals, 10 assists for 19 points. Add to that 99 shots, 22 penalty minutes, 80 hits, 12 shots blocks, 2 game winning goals and 1 powerplay goal. The Marlins were in a rebuild process so he got traded to the Philadephia Reapers. For them, he played 43 games, and his offensive numbers just skyrocked. 20 goals, 43 assists for 63 points. A differential of +32, 220 shots on goal, 42 penalty minutes, 110 hits, 24 shots blocks, 5 game winning goals and 2 powerplay goals. So totals : GP G A P +/- SHT PIM HIT SB GW PPG SHG 84 (SDM) 29 9 10 19 0 99 22 80 12 2 1 84 (PHI) 43 20 43 63 32 220 42 110 24 5 2 Totals 72 29 53 82 32 319 64 190 36 7 3 Not bad for a first gen player took in the second round. They were more up than down overall, and Alfred Champagne hopes that he can live up to the expectations. The Reapers finished second in the Eastern Conference and faced the Mexico City Kings in the first round. PHI finished with 94 points and MEX with 103. After four games, Mexico leads the series 3-1 so it will be hard for the team of Champagne to come back.
