Scurvy 1,488
Playoff hockey is un-predictable and fun for all (except those teams watching and not playing). But such is life. With the wild card round over I was surprised to see Riga fall to Davos. Riga had amazing scorers that scored 233 goals in the regular season to Davos 184. However, I think Davos came with a defensive mindset and showed their off-season pickups of Vinny Detroit and big Zeedayno Chara paid off. Davos has a deadly team that shouldn’t be overlooked as we move on to the next round. Great goalie in Davis and a very tough defensive corps to include rookies Jake Thunder, Siyan Yasileievich, and vet David Tavau. Davos plays a tough in your face type of hockey so matchup against Warsaw or Moscow should prove to be entertaining from the PIM department for sure. I am excited to see how Davos competes next and wish them the best of luck (Except against Warsaw).
