Vasteras is Final Bound!

For the second straight season, the Vasteras Iron Eagles will be heading to the VHLE final. They complete the sweep of the Cologne Express, which was much more than the 4-0 series indicated. Vasteras won all 4 games but by just a goal each game. Cologne had a great team, and any of those games could have gone any way. After a frustrating end to the season I I’d USMC, Justin Adolfsen has come to life in the playoffs for Vasteras on the first line with 7 points in 4 games. Adolfsen and Dogwood Maple (6 points in 4 games) have found their groove when Vasteras needed it the most with Phoebe Bridgers (5 points in 4 games) Christopher Young leads the playoffs with 5 goals and has been one hell of a duo with Molly the Cat who has been a point per game player.
 

The real story has to be Basileus Jute, who has dominated the playoffs by far in the goaltending department. Jute has had a .932 save percentage and 2.54 GAA in the 4 wins. Jute has taken Marcel Janser, Maxwell Matthias, Faith Love Hope, Matty Live and Bob Robb out to dinner for their play in front of him. The defensemen were the one who picked up the tab however as they showed their appreciation for their goaltenders fantastic performance. A big challenge waits for Vasteras in the finals no matter who they face. Istanbul and Bratislava are two fantastic teams and there is a reason they were the top 2 seeds in the VHLE.
