The Houston Bulls chokes

The Houston Bulls finished strong in the regular season by getting 49 wins for 103 points in the 84th victory hockey league minor season.

They had a very good -/+ with a +66 for the season and were ranked 2nd in the entire league.

The Houston Bulls expectations were high and expected to face the Las Vegas Aces in the finals for the victory hockey league minor playoff.

They have to go through the Halifax 21st first...

Morale was very high for the Houston Bulls since Halifax only got 83 points in the season and they could barely score any goals.

Houston won the first game, but they lost the second game.

We thought they were bound to win a game or two so we did not panic.

Then they won game 3 and we won game 4.

A 2-2 series... we were not expecting that to happen.

We paid a lot of focus into the next game and we won it, we were up 3-2 and we were hoping to finish the series at their stadium.

Halifax goalie Geoff Bezos stood up and carried his team to win in overtime!

It was a 3-3 series, panic was obvious in the locker room since we didn't expect it to happen against this team.

We were at home tho, though a bit of peace was in our mind and we thought we should stack our lines to overpower them.

It did work, we were up 3-1 going into the third period, and then they come back from behind...

The game went into OT and Halifax ended up winning the game.

It was a good upset, but Houston's aspirations were crushed.
