JCarson 723
I have been named to team Canada in the World Junior Showcase. I am honored by the trust my coach has put in me. This will be my second World Junior Showcase as I was a part of last year’s silver medal winning team, Team Asia. I look forward to taking the opportunity to continue my development during the offseason and getting a new coaching perspective. I believe that it will assist me in preparing for my entry into the VHL as I join the London United for season 85. I know that there is going to be significant growth needed to excel at the level the VHL is played at but I am committed to succeeding and will do everything needed. Team Canada is a formidable team this year and we have high expectations to take home the gold medal. We understand that we only achieved a bronze medal last year and plan to correct that. We recognize that many other teams have considerable depth and skill and want to congratulate the players who have been named to the other regions. You should consider it a honor to be named to your regional team. We look forward to some intense competition, to some great hockey and to making new friends. The world Junior showcase is a honorable tradition that has been a part of the VHL offseason for years. It is with exceptional pride that we all dress for our national teams and play the sport we love for glory and recognition. Go Canada Go
