Molly the Cat, with season 85 starting later this week, what is one thing you are looking forward to?

I must admit that I am extremely excited about the season starting, I expect to face several firsts over the course of the season. However, if I had to choose just one thing that I am looking forward to most I would say it is my first goal. For years I have been watching the goaltenders of the VHL, they are fantastic athletes and represent the best of the best, to get a chance to score on just one of them will prove to myself that I belong in this league. I have worked hard all my career to get this opportunity and I plan to make the most of it.

Molly the Cat, London United recently picked up Defense Jerome Reinhart, what were your thoughts when you heard this?

Jerome is a fantastic defensive player who has won numerous championships and other awards. I do not think anyone will be surprised to see Jerome in the Hall of Fame one day. When I heard, Jerome Reinhart was coming to London United it was exciting. To have the opportunity to play with someone of that talent does not happen every day. My hope is that I can learn everything I can from Jerome Reinhart, to become a better hockey player because I had the chance to learn from a legend like Jerome.

Molly the Cat, this is obviously a rebuilding year for London United, has management talked to you about how they want you to play this season?

Yes, I have had several conversations with management since being named Captain about what our expectations are for this year. I am proud to announce that we are on the same page and that is we expect to go out every night and battle hard, put everything we have into every game and win. We may be rebuilding but our focus is putting together the best games we can for our fans. Management has asked us to go onto the ice every game and give it our all. What they want to see is where exactly they need to make acquisitions; they want to know what exactly they are working with. The only way we get better is by competing every night with a focus on winning a championship for London.

Molly the Cat, my last question will be a little more personal in nature. You have spent a significant amount of your minor league career working with Landon Wolanin on skill development. You will now be in the same league as him, how do you think your first game as opponents will be?

Landon Wolanin is a upcoming star in the VHL and having had the opportunity to train with him has helped tremendously over the last couple of years. We both know that we are going to face each other at some point and when we do neither of us is going to hold back. We are going to push hard out of respect for the other.
