TownBizness 35
Fred Hampton checks his iPhone regularly. Between his family, his agency, and his various social media interests notifications are something that are frequent. The one area that is noticeably quiet is that from the team front. In regards to this, here is what the forward/center had to say: "On one hand I totally get it. I'm not an "all in" type person. So I don't necessarily value the traditional locker room experience. However, a little direction from my coach is always a helpful thing to have. In Las Vegas my coach would check in with me regularly in our one-on-ones. Not only would he give me updates on how my player and the team was doing but he also gave me some direction on how to train. I thought this was really helpful and I appreciated it. Is it going out of his way a bit? Probably, but I can't help but think that type of work lends itself to success. Looking forward to more check ins in the future."
