A little bit over a Midway Season Update for the Kings

A shocking surprise

With 42 games played in the VHLM and only 30 games to go, it seems that the top teams and bottom teams are starting to solidify, however one thing that is certain is that nobody expected the Mexico City Kings to be this good. Currently sitting at second in the conference, the Mexico City Kings sport a record of 23-15-4, good for 50 points and tied for 3rd in the league with the ex-champions, the Philadelphia Reapers. It is very surprising for the Kings to be doing this well, as the Kings don't have a super deep roster like the other top teams do in this league. On top of that, the team only has one defenseman, but that doesn't seem to be stopping the Kings from dominating the Western Conference. On top of that, the San Diego Marlins who sport a record of 35-6-1 have only 7 losses this season, 3 of those are to the Kings. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the Kings come later into the regular season, especially forward Alexander Stroheim who has 36 goals, 50 assists, and 86 points this season, which leads the league.
