Gotta Catch Em All

This last week Jesse has spent most of their time watching the team from the bench. They haven’t been given any ice time recently but they don’t mind very much. As the backup it makes sense that they haven’t seen much action. So instead of playing, Jesse has been sneaking their Nintendo Switch onto the bench and has been making their way through the newest Pokemon game, Scarlet. They are 3 badges, 3 titans, and 3 team star camps in, along with having recorded 200+ pokemon caught in their pokedex. This isn’t how many would expect a backup goalie in the VHL to spend their time but so far it doesn't seem to be hurting anyone. Jesse has even been reported to be trading and doing raids with kids in the crowd to keep them entertained during tv timeouts and intermissions.
