D3X 30
I challenged myself to do a NHL goal graphic in under 3 minutes to test myself and my photoshop knowledge, my goal is to try and do this every month to get better at learning the application after spending a lot of time away from it the rules of the challenge are simple: 1. The graphic must be finished in under 5 minutes 2. No pre planning I.e. pre saving images or using assets from other projects 3. No googling anything no references 4. Have fun I’d like to see some other of the guys try this out and share what you can do Edited December 12, 2022 by D3X Aimee, nurx, Triller and 1 other 3 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/130837-i-challengd-myself-to-do-a-nhl-goal-graphic-in-3-minutes/ Share on other sites
Triller 1,684
@D3XI like the approach you took on your graphic here. It is an interesting challenge you propose and one that I likely would not be able to do without the ability to google. I would need the player render at the very least and I imagine that is where you got yours? Might need to change the rules a bit and allow for all the googling you want but that has to be done in those 5 mins. I used to do 20 min sculpts in 3D but found that though it helped polish the skills I already had, it didn't allow me time to learn new ones as I relied on what I knew to not waste time. It is a good practice but doesn't show what you are capable of when given time to learn more about the software you are using. I won't grade your graphic for this review but I am curious to see more from you and how you progress throughout the coming months! Also, welcome to the league!
