Announcements

 

Make sure to check out Edition 211 of the VHL Magazine!  This is a short one but still delivers!

 

The Season 40 Player Store is officially open.  Use your valuable contract dollars to improve your player!  Your options include a TPE re-roll, tripled awards prediction points, a free week, position change, your player being featured on the cover of a VHL Magazine edition, and much more!

 

It looks like the Season 40 banner competition has concluded with banner number five taking home the prize!  Hopefully it will be the site's banner soon!

 

Game Discussion

 

The big story of the past week has been about the top three teams in the league.  Currently, the new York Americans, Helsinki Titans, and Quebec Meute have been playing at a much higher level than anyone else in the league and everyone is noticing.

 

The Wranglers and Meute fought back and forth in this defensive battle with the Meute ultimately coming out on top with a 1-0 win.  The goalies were the stars of this game with Brock Waldron pitching the shutout while Martin Brookside did everything he could to keep Calgary in the game!

 

Here the Toronto Legion pulled off the upset win over the Helsinki Titans in overtime!  Lead by Matteo Gallo's two assists in regulation and shootout goal, the Legion managed to pick up two points in their 3-2 victory.

 

If you're looking for some dominance, you bet you can find it here in the Express' 6-0 beatdown over HC Dynamo.  Wesley Kellinger and rookie Thomas O'Malley were the stars in this game for the Express, picking up 5 and 4 points, respectively.
