Dack 46
As I reflect on my first 13 games in the VHLM, I feel proud of what I've accomplished so far, but I know there's still plenty of work to be done. To be honest, it's been a bit of a challenging start for me. I've played in all 13 games, With 1 goal and 1 assist, I know I haven't been the most productive player on the ice, but I'm doing my best to contribute in other ways. However, I'm still getting used to the level of play in the VHLM. The competition is much tougher than anything I've faced before, and I'm still adjusting to the speed and physicality of the game. I'm working hard in practice to improve my skills and make better decisions on the ice. Despite my low point total, I've been focusing on my overall game and trying to make a positive impact on the team. With 16 shots on goal, I've been getting my chances, and I know that the goals will come with continued effort and dedication. Defensively, I've been working hard to improve my plus/minus rating. With a current rating of -8, I know there's room for improvement, but I'm committed to making better decisions on the ice and helping my team keep the puck out of our net. On the physical side of the game, I've been working to make my presence felt with 16 hits and 2 penalty minutes. I believe that a physical presence on the ice can help swing momentum in our favor and intimidate our opponents. As a member of the Houston Bulls, I can tell you that the excitement for the future of our team is high. While we've had our ups and downs in the current season, there's a real sense that we have the talent, coaching, and drive to be a dominant force in the league for years to come. Our GM staff has put together a team that's built on speed, skill, and a tenacious work ethic. With a blend of young up-and-comers and seasoned veterans, we have the depth and experience to compete with any team in the league. While our record might not show it yet, we have the potential to be a serious threat in the playoffs. Our locker room is full of players who are hungry to win, who are willing to put in the work to make it happen. As for myself, I know I have more to give to the team. While my stats might not be where I want them to be, I'm working hard every day to improve my game, to become a more consistent contributor on the ice. I'm studying film, working on my conditioning, and putting in extra time in the weight room to make sure I'm at my best every time I step on the ice. Although I haven't yet scored a game-winning goal or recorded a power-play or short-handed goal, I know that those opportunities will come as I continue to develop my skills and gain more experience in the league. I'm happy with my performance in these first 13 games, but I'm not content. I'm eager to continue improving and contributing in any way possible to help my team be successful. 542 words Edited February 20, 2023 by Dack Subject056, AJW and Triller
