This season has been a coming out party for the LA Stars . We all knew they had the talent and this team could potentially do big things , this year everyone has bought in to what they are trying to build and not has it worked .

One player in particular Todd Cooke has taken a step forward this year , His game on both sides of the puck has really risen to a next level. In particular his ability to set up his teammates and make plays in the offensive zone has really become evident this year. Cooke really wanted to step up this year and show the LA brass that he could hang in the VHL and he’s done just that. Along with his playmaking ability Cooke has taken a step forward to become a defensive presence for his team . It’s only a matter of time before he reaches his full potential which will hopefully have him in the point per game category and in the conversation as one of the leagues best defensive forwards.

Cooke takes pride in his defensive game and those 2 goals are something he hopes to soon achieve as he continues his Career with the LA Stars.
