In the EU Conference, the race is closer than ever with 2nd place and 7th place being separated by only 10 points. For most teams in EU, there are only 6 games remaining and it's going to come down to the wire. Moscow currently is in first and seems to be a lock for the top seed in the European Conference, with Davos trailing in second. After that, there's a bit of a gap where Malmo is in 3rd with 78 points, however only 5 points separate Malmo and Prague, the difference between 3rd seed and 7th seed. It's going to come down to the last day most likely for who makes the playoffs and who's going to miss, but Davos fans feel pretty safe right now where they currently are. They only need a couple more wins to clinch playoffs, and with 6 games remaining, a 3-3-0 record should get them in regardless of how the other teams do. We caught up with Siyan and asked him his thoughts on the remaining six games, to which he replied, "With only 6 games left, every team is going to be treating it like an elimination game, including us. We have a bit of leeway in the standings, but it doesn't mean we're going to take our foot off the gas pedal." Siyan currently has 21 goals and 63 assists, good for 84 points and a new career high. He's finally turned into the player he was promised to be and he has reached the peak of his career at the moment!
