GioSivo 167
This current off-season for Francesco Mancini is sure to be the most important of his life, as he'll be entering the VHL entry draft and taking the next step in his career. Currently Mancini is expected to go somewhere around picks 7-10. As if the draft wasn't enough to worry about, he's also currently playing in the Junior Showcase Tournament, once again for the Royals. (Unfortunately he missed a number of games due to issues with the airline while traveling back to the United States). Obviously still frustrated with that, he's been off to a somewhat slow start in the JST, with 4 points in 10 games so far, but more is to come from there. Before the JST Mancini traveled back to Italy to be with his family for a while before having to return to the US. Pictured is a photo Mancini uploaded to his Instagram of him making fresh pasta and bread (something he allegedly made for his teammates in San Diego before every game last season). Mancini will also be entering the VHLE draft as he isn't quite eligible for the VHL just yet, but in the next year or so, we should be seeing him play in his first VHL game.
