JCarson 723
As many people have pointed out, London United have never won a playoff series since they entered the league. Some have even come to talk about some curse that hangs over the team’s collective heads. But this year is different. I say is, because as of right now London is sitting in the VHL championship finals. Three series have been completed and London has been victorious. Any curse that may have existed is broken it is history. What exists is the present, the now. It has been a long road so far for London and they have faced three extremely talented teams. Riga, Prague, and Davos as all exceptional teams that deserve to be congratulated on the fantastic job all season. Each of them puts forward an extremely talented group of players and could have been the eventual VHL champions. They are all that good. It is this long road that has prepared London for its’ next challenge, Seattle. Seattle is a talented team; nobody will deny that. Yet London has knocked down three talented teams already, one more will just be another normal day in these playoffs. London looks forward to the road ahead, it may have twists and turns but for sure it will take us to our destination. We look ahead at what is to come with anticipation and excitement, at the end of the road is the VHL championship trophy and as far as London is concerned it is ours for the taking. badcolethetitan and Subject056 2 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/136265-a-long-road-for-london/ Share on other sites
