Aimee 1,119
Last we checked in with Jesse Teno and the London United, they were trading blows with Davos in the European Conference Finals. Now, only days later, we see London pulling off what no previous London team has ever come close to; Game 7 of the Continental Cup Finals. The new motto in London is “one more win”, which has been the course of the games the last three days. London was down 3-1 against Seattle and has since played spectacularly, forcing Game 7 after a 5-2 Game 5 and 3-2 Game 6 which went to triple overtime. Jesse Teno has certainly found their game within the playoffs which has surprised most critics and fans who would have considered Teno’s regular season performance to be average. Heading into tonight’s game, Teno has a 14-6-2 record, 3 shutouts, 0.947 save percentage, 2.00 goal against average, picked up 1 assist, and has only allowed 47 goals. Currently they are also the number 1 goalie in the playoffs under every Leader measure except OT Losses and Assists. Even if Seattle were to take Game 7, I don’t think there’s any ignoring the incredible performance by Teno during these playoffs. 195 words for week ending 6/4/2023 Edited May 30, 2023 by aimkin Triller
