With the Royals sitting at 3rd in their conference with a record of 27-12-4, we decided to catch up with defender Jaime Hill and get her thoughts on the team's current standing and on the future.

“It's an interesting feeling right now, to be sure. This is my first full season in the VHLM, and it's just such a different feeling than it was while I was playing with the Rush. I was still learning the ropes when I played in Yukon, but now that I've come into my own, things definitely feel a lot better. I'm still doing what I can to put in practice hours and there are definitely areas that I'm focusing on more than others, like my basic skating and defense skills. I'm a bit surprised myself at the fact that I've managed to score 18 goals thus far as scoring's always been a weak spot for me, but that's what comes with playing with such great players. We're just over halfway through the season, and I've got faith in our team. We will do everything we can to win the cup!”
