London United off to a Slow Start

What's going on?

The London United have started off the season with a 2-3-1 and a -6 GD, not ideal for the team that just won the championship. They've been struggling keep the puck out of their own net, as 22 GA is the leagues 3rd highest GA at this moment, with the other two teams having more games played than London. This could be attributed to the fact that London only has 3 defenseman on the roster and they could for sure use another body instead of a bot in their lineup. Regardless though, there are a couple good players on the team having a good start to their season. Igor Molotov already has 9 points in 6 games played and is looking to be the star centerman that this team really needs this season. On top of that, Siyan Yasilievich leads the defenseman on the team with 8 points in 6 games played, as at the moment it's a two-man show, but I expect this to change. It's very early on and London should be able to find a way to fix their problems, and I have full faith in Jacob that he can turn the ship around. Something to note is that Siyan Yasilievich is on his contract year, so he'll be playing his best hockey so he can secure a contract as he's an aging veteran that might not have many offers in the off-season. We'll see how this season pans out for the London United and Siyan Yasilievich, hopefully they can go back to back and bring home another cup!
