Diego Machado: Thank you so much! It's an incredible feeling to be drafted by the Toronto Legion. It's a dream come true for me, and I'm honored to have the opportunity to wear the Legion jersey and represent such a storied franchise.

Interviewer: Can you share with us a bit about your journey in hockey leading up to this moment?

Diego Machado: Absolutely. I started playing hockey at a young age and fell in love with the sport instantly. I worked hard to develop my skills and played in various leagues throughout my youth. As I got older, I faced challenges and setbacks, but those experiences only fueled my determination to improve. I'm grateful for the support of my family, coaches, and teammates who believed in me and helped me reach this point in my career.

Interviewer: What aspects of your game do you believe attracted the attention of the Toronto Legion?

Diego Machado: I believe my speed and agility, combined with my offensive skills, played a significant role in catching the attention of the Toronto Legion. I pride myself on being a playmaker and creating scoring opportunities for my teammates. Additionally, I'm committed to being a responsible two-way player, contributing in both the offensive and defensive zones. I think the Legion saw potential in my ability to make an impact on the ice and help the team succeed.

Interviewer: What are your goals and expectations as you enter this new chapter of your hockey career?

Diego Machado: My primary goal is to contribute to the success of the Toronto Legion. I want to bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow as a player. I'm excited to compete at the VHL level and face the challenges that come with it. My expectations are to work hard, embrace opportunities for improvement.

Diego Machado: Yes, I've had the opportunity to speak with members of the Toronto Legion organization, including coaches and management. They have a clear vision for the team's success, and I'm excited to be a part of it. I look forward to learning from their guidance and contributing to the Legion's Future.
