Arce 755
The San Diego Marlins have been spoiled the past 2 seasons by having goaltender Olivier Gauthier between the pipes. Gauthier was no doubt the MVP of the team during that span. He posted 87 wins as the Marlins netminder while coming off a save percentage of .926% and GAA of 2.17 with 8 shutouts. Gauthier has since gone onto greener pastures as he was ready to move up to the VHLE, further progressing his journey to the VHL. This left the Marlins with the big question in the S89 offseason, who would replace Gauthier? The answer became Clark, drafted by the Marlins in round 3 of the S89 VHLM Draft. Many were shocked by this selection as Clark had been very much unknown to the league. But clearly the Marlins scouting saw something in him to fill in the void. So far Clark has delivered on the mark, as when San Diego has been outshot he has kept them in the game. All of San Diego's losses have come within a goal so far. Clark is rocking a .917 save percentage so far and a 2.47 GAA which is very solid. Clark is showing that he is the guy that the team can be built around, and we are very excited to see his progression over the course of the season.
