Live from Juan Ceson Arena, this is Radio Las Vegas, with your host, Marcus Svedberg! It's just about time to get you some news.

The Las Vegas Aces have finished last place in the S89 VHLM Regular Season standings. When looking back to the start of the season to now, it's easy to be discouraged and concerned over the future of the team. As the title of this article suggests, however, there is a silver lining to this that provides the management of Las Vegas with great opportunity. With being placed last at the end of regular season competition, the Aces have guaranteed best odds at first overall in the S90 VHLM Draft. Considering how stacked this draft is looking as well, the Aces have a great opportunity to enter a short rebuild phase to truly propel themselves back into high octane competitiveness once more, and reignite the flame of the Aces dominant performance from S83 to S85. Taking the current roster into consideration, chances are the Aces aims for the draft and offseason will be to obtain strong defensive presence on the blueline, and bolster up their offensive core utilizing the players already existing on the team. It's a tried and true method that AGM McLovin has experience winning in, with his S70 and S88 Gold Medal wins as examples. What happens on draft day, of course, is anybody's guess, but expect the Aces to be VERY active this offseason.

And that's the news. You know, in the VHLM, sometimes you have to just roll with the punches. Here's Cole Porter reminding us that here, Anything Goes.
