CGY Janser finding a new home

Callum was fed up with staying in a hotel for the rest of the season, which he most likely will spend in Saskatoon. So he was going flat hunting. Nothing where he needed to commit long term, but also a place where he can have his peace in his time off.

He was in luck. A taxidermist was making a tour around the world to learn new tricks of his trade and to see new countries. It will take him nine months to complete and in the interim, he was looking for a house sitter. The only condition was that the potential caretaker must extend some TLC to the house. And one cannot be spooked by all the exposé like wall mounted skulls and fullsize grizzlies. Callum, an occasional hunter himself and having no qualms in that respect and liking the property, lost no time to say 'yes'. The house was about 25 minutes drive from the SaskTel Centre, where the Wild play. Also it was in a copse of trees, which gave him the comforting solace he was looking for.

As soon as he shook hands with the Owner, he was going to tackle the challenge of finding a mode of transportation. He always liked pick-ups, so he went to a used cars dealership and looked for something serviceable and sturdy, as well as inexpensive. At least that was the plan. But on his way to the dealership, he saw a 'for sale' sign on a well maintained 1956 Ford F-1 and he fell in love with the car. It was not a hot-roded version and close to its original state. There was no way, he was not going to buy it.

So he spent more money on his ride than he initially intended to, but then again he will keep his new acquisition.
