Daniel Janser 2,167
Callum has done it. The first time he plays hockey with his old man and he wins the prestigious ProAm Tournament with Santa's Naughty Elves. Admittedly, his offensive contribution to the team's success was on a more modest level. But after all, he was drafted for his body, not his hands. That is his father's job. It is always nice to return home with one more trophy/medal in one's luggage. It boosts morale and may be another feather in the cap, once the HOF discussion shows up after a hopefully long and prosper career. Coach Jonny Elgar bought pizza and stubbies for the whole team to have at least a mini celebration before the player return to their respective franchise/retirement after the team is disbanded. That is the beauty and the sad thing in this tournament: This group of players may never come together in this exact composition. But as long as he was here, Callum enjoyed every minute of it and tried to absorb as many tips and tricks from more experienced player and is a better player for it. May it help the Americans to end their cup drought.
