CGY Janser is airing his head

After a bitter 3-1 loss in the wild card series, CGY decided to take advantage of his uncle's absence and to spend some time in the solitude of the Catskills. Marcel has granted him free reign on his log cabin. So Callum asked Rin if she would join him. The fellow S91 draftee was hesitant as she does not enjoy fishing and hunting as much as the Swiss defender. Cal-Gary pointed out though that she could engage in her favourite hobby, birdwatching. So Kagamine agreed to join Cal on his endeavour. They loaded up Eilidh and drove to Roscoe, to closest town to Marcel's humble abode. The region is primarily known for its trout fly-fishing. They made a stop at the world famous Roscoe Diner for lunch and then drove on to their destination.

Once there, Janser started airing the cabin out, as his uncle had not inhabited it in a while. He checked on the generator and the solar panels, which he both found in working condition. He then started to split logs, as the cabin's cooking station is of the old fashioned cast-iron sort. 

He had a quick look up the chimney from the fire place, as often some small critters make us of it as a refugee from the elements and predators alike. Indeed he had to shoo out a raccoon who somehow managed to get trapped in the flue.

After the two Americans made themselves at home they had a nice brew (a stubby for the Calgary native and a Jasmine tea for the Japanese prodigy) on the porch and observed the sun set.
