Well maybe I will do my VHL.com article now. I sat down this morning to write my article and started on my topic of choice. I must have missed how engaged in the topic I was because 45 minutes and 1503 words later I finally finished. I have never done that before; I think I put out a couple that were about 750 words long but have never dropped 3 weeks of media spots at one time. I guess now I can’t say that.

I hope that players and GM take the time to read it and comment on it. I will link it here, so it is easy to find:

Look at it from a few perspectives.

  1. Go ahead a critique the thoughts, the content, and the conclusion. Add your perspective. Disagree if you want it won’t bother me. It won’t change my conclusion either.

  2.

  1. Look at it from a perspective of writing what you are passionate about, finding a topic is sometimes the most difficult part of writing a media spot. Find something you are passionate about and that becomes much easier.

  2.

  1. Look at it as a framework for evaluating teams in the VHLM. If you are recreating think about what type of team you want to join. Cup Champions, or teams that are focused on building the league's player base. You have a choice. This concludes my extended waiver pitch.

  2.

At minimum I hope that I have created an environment where people may stop and look at things slightly differently. As a GM in the VHLM winning and success are different things, sometimes they come close to each other but sometimes they are two sides of a coin, they will always be together but can never be showing at the same time.
