Felicia Hardy Rookie Experience 

 

 

 

It seems like only yesterday that Felicia Hardy sat in her living room, a live stream of the season 94 VHL draft streaming on the television. The league had sent a camera crew to film her as she watched the draft as it was expected that she would go near the top. It was a strong draft class with many top prospects. Finally with the sixth overall pick Davos announced the selection of Felicia Hardy. With that the journey to the VHL began. 

 

As expected, Felicia Hardy put in her time learning, strengthening to prepare. First the VHLM and then the VHLE. There were many good things that happened during those seasons and unfortunately some disappointments as well. Through it all Felicia never lost sight of the goal, to reach the VHL and to one day be a star, to be a champion and potentially to reach the Hall of Fame. It is a lofty goal, most defensive minded defenders can have great careers, can be well respected by their teammates but it is generally hard for them to piece together enough accolades to be named to the Hall of Fame. Felicia’s goal is to change that. 

 

Felicia Hardy for as long as they can remember has lived by ne motto “Veni, Vidi, Vici”. I came, I saw, I conquered. For Felicia it is a driving force. Wherever they go, they will take in and understand the challenge and defeat it.  And now the focus in the VHL. 

 

So, what will it mean for Felicia Hardy to Conquer.  

 

1. Personal Awards – Felicia is looking to take home at least one personal award during their time in the VHL. It would be great to get that out of the way with Rookie of the Year but would be just as happy with a Sterling Labatte or Jake Wilde Trophy.

2. Be in the top ten for defensive statistics, looking at building so they can maintain a predominant position in checking, shots blocked and hits. It would be nice to position within the offensive stats like assists, but it is not a primary goal

3. Continental Cup – may people don’t even get the chance to play for the Continental Cup but Felicia has their eyes set on hoisting it.

So, there you have it, Felicia has come to the VHL, will be joining the HC Davos Dynamo’s for season 95 and will be looking to take over.
