CaptainSB 117
Mexico City started off hot and was even the top team at one point in the league. And then as the season progressed and the team had to drop maxed IA players and bring in the young new players the performance dropped off. However, all of this was to prepare the team for the future and compared to the rough last stretch of the season, the team looks to be on a good course to make a run in the playoffs. The biggest growth the team looks to see is the new goalie Dustin Wolf. He started off shaky but has been coming on strong and the team will need to have the new goalie in this run. He ended the season at a .921 save rate but in the playoffs so far against Houston, his rate has dropped to .889. The three defensemen behind I-Smell have been developing at a good pace and along with two strong wings, the team should have enough offense to keep teams honest. However, the next matchup will be Halifax so the team needs to be playing its best hockey to advance to the finals. diacope 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/149603-mexico-city-will-have-its-day/ Share on other sites
