After a final four exit in Houston last season, I-Smell was hoping this season in Mexico City would be different. The team started off as the best team and been the top 2 team throughout most of the season. However as the season progressed the team started losing players including max players and the play tailed off for a team that was expecting to go deep in the playoffs. After a top 2 defensive season, the team really struggled in the last 2 weeks and had a rough out vs Houston in the first round. Round 2, the matches were close with 3 out of the 5 games being 1 point games. The team just fell short when the cameras shone the brightest and the limelight was on the players to perform in the clutch. I-Smell is disappointed again and will hope to take this bad taste in the mouth to his offseason tourney teams and the VHLE team to make a bigger statement in the coming season.
