World Cups.

Recommended Posts

A World Cup is more than just a sporting event. Any tournament where different nations are against each other becomes a global phenomenon. It unites nations in a celebration of cultural pride and athletic excellence, and every two seasons, this is what happens in the VHL with the WCoH.

The atmosphere during the World Cup is electric. It's filled with anticipation, hope, joy, tension, and many other adjectives. After all, only one team can earn the coveted title of "World Champions." It's a historically hard tournament to win due to its format and being played only once every two seasons, with a player having the opportunity to play in three or maybe four editions at most.

For the fans, who come together to support their nations and their star players, it's an emotional rollercoaster. To the players, it is a privilege to represent their nation. One that comes with the burden of the expectations of fellow citizens, but at the same time, a chance to earn their place in the VHL Hall of Fame. After all, they can become one of the few to enter the Triple Gold Club.

Winning the Founder's & Continental Cup and adding the World Cup have been longtime success metrics in the VHL. One of the most desired accolades and one that has only been achieved by 90 players in the league's history.

Could we add the 91st this season?
