A tale of two teams

Recommended Posts

This story is not from the locker room, rather this is a personal story. This is a story of a father and son, Dabnad Shaw and Narnia Shaw. This off-season, we see the father and son participate in two different competitions. One competition is the off-season one, played by both retired players along with rookies. This is the pro-am. The other is the great competition of Junior Showcase, one which helps junior players showcase their skills. Dabnad Shaw, however, is not having much success in Pro-Am, with his team not winning many games, going 1-5 in his first 6 games. On the other hand we have the great success story of his son, playing in the junior showcase before his first game, and going 21-1-2, and having the 25th most assists despite not playing a game in the VHLM, the highest player in this situation. Narnia Shaw is truly showing his excellence, while Dabnad Shaw is struggling to win games, showing us the two different situations the two men were put in.
