It's been a weird season in Toronto, one that started with high expectations after back to back Finals losses, and has unfolded as one of missed opportunities. It took a trade of Legion captain Bobby Bob to wake the Legion up, rattling off 8 straight wins as a desperate team with very little season left to climb back into the playoff race. The Legion closed the point gap back of a playoff spot from 15 points to 7, eyeing a chance to catch New York. The Americans hold a game in hand, so the gap could still be 9 points with 9 games left in the season if New York wins the extra game. The two teams play a head to head game in Toronto this upcoming week, one that the Legion will surely have to win if they have any chance of pulling off this miracle. While the odds are stacked against them, this will still be a fun week to see how everything unfolds.
