The Vancouver Wolves have a lot to do still to prepare for Christmas.  Ha, you thought it was going to be to prepare for season 97.  Well, let’s just say that Frank is Santa Claus and PMB is the head Elf.  Frank and PMB have given the team a Christmas came early locker room by filling in the holes of retired players, like Liv Slater, Olober Syko, and Rip Wheeler, not to mention the loss of Kisslinger and Thorvaldsson.  All of these players were instrumental in bringing the cup back to Vancouver.  Frank and PMB had some frank conversations once the season was over and Frank, provided his frank expertise to fill these gaps and PMB was frank with Frank as Frank and PMB discussed the options.

Starting with the goalie position, Soju played several games between the pipes in season 96 and was destined for a trophy, but Frank, being the unselfish GM he is, sought out Olober Syko to shore up the cup.  And it worked.  Now its Soju’s turn to lead the team to another cup and there is no doubt that he will do just that.  The team is ecstatic with Soju back in net, in better shape, faster, stronger, and smarter.

On defense, the additions of Einar Matthiesen and Scrungle Bungle were gifts to Guntis Gavilrovs and Bollos de Trueno.  Einar is a big defender who likes to tangle with opponents.  Einar has a keen eye for passing the puck and being in the right place at the right time.  Coming off a great season with Philadelphia, the Wolves are excited to have Matthiesen in the locker room and on the ice.  Scrungle Bungle is an experienced player who will be bringing a steady play on the D-line, in a support role.  Like Matthiesen, Bungle enjoys knocking the shit out of opponents and keeping the other teams trembling.  Frank and PMB have filled the defensive holes with two promising players and the team is stronger for this.

On offense, Frank reached out and grabbed two potential stars, Celise Pereira and Eno Velvson, giving Matteo Stefani, Logan Ninefingers, Riley Martin, and PMB a special early Christmas present.  Celise and Eno have a lot of experience under their belts and they are familiar with the demands of the VHL.  Celise is a first gen player who’s in her last season.  She doesn’t score many goals but she helps others put the puck in the net.  In addition, Celise is not afraid to block shots.  Eno Velvson is a solid two way forward who loves to hit and get into scraps.  Eno has been around the VHL a while and is consistent earning a base TPE.  One thing that sticks out with Velvson’s profiler, Nykonax, is that Nykonax’s players have six continental cups.  There is no doubt that Frank factored this into his decision to pick up Eno Velvson to help boost the Vancouver Wolves to pick up another Continental Cup and celebrate season 97 with a repeat championship.  Let’s be frank, Frank.  Thanks and Merry Christmas!!
