Dabnad 196
Well everyone, it’s that time of the year once again. The time of the year where we go from candy canes and Santa, to a lot of alcohol, and near bankruptcy within 7 days! Everyone has some New Year’s resolutions, so I thought, let’s look at some of Narnia Shaw’s resolutions, on how he will be as a player, person, and teammate. Let’s look at some of his goals for the upcoming season, and learn what’s inside his mind. Coming next week, we will also see the advancement of the Asian WJC team, who is currently fighting for gold in the finals! Next week, we’ll see a small recap by yours truly, talking about the team, and how in the world they got there! Without further ado, let’s look at Narnia Shaw’s resolutions for the year! 1. Achieve 550 TPE by the end of the season This one’s a bit simple one to start off, by the end of the S97 season, I would like to reach 550 TPE, aiming to hit around 1000 TPE within 3 seasons, and near my peak hitting 1200 TPE. This is a dream for now, considering exams are coming up, and there’s a lot of work coming in as me in real life graduating in the upcoming school year, so lots of work. I do hope to start doing a longer format of work, where I write multiple long articles when I get the time, making it easier for me to gain! 2. Reach 70 points within the next 2 season This is yet another simple, yet incredibly important task I wish to hit in the upcoming year, and it is to hit the 70 point mark! This doesn’t seem like much, but Narnia has been struggling a bit recently to find the assists he was once thriving on. He went from 68 in 72, all the way down to 37 in 72. This divide can be seen mainly in his move between SSK and MIA, where his splits are mindnumbing, being over point per game in SSK, while achieving half a point per game in MIA. This metric has hurt his stock a bit, but with the recent changes in his attributes, and what he’s worked on, I think that Shaw could definitely improve, as we’re seeing his passing improve being seen in the WJC playoffs! Overall, 70 in 72 by S98 should look achievable for the mighty Indian! 3. Win The Gold Finally, the biggest, and perhaps the most important goal for Shaw in the year, is to win the damn gold in the WJC! As of writing, Asia have reached the finals, after upsetting the hockey giant, USA. We will be playing Canada in the final. Considering how they’ve lost to Latvia just yesterday, I think it’s definitely possible for the Asians to take a step, and win their first ever gold in the history of the championship! This is something the whole team is striving towards, and we can see an historic battle take place incredibly soon! These are 3 of the main goals that Shaw has for the year, granted you have other smaller and larger goals, such as winning accolades among others, however, these are the three most important that we can see Shaw trying to accomplish. Unfortunately, that is all I have for you this week, however, be on the look out for next week, where Shaw will go over the WJC Asian team, going over their journey and amazing trip to the finals. Until then, this is Narnia Shaw, signing off, until next time. 598 words Week ending Dec 29, 2024 Triller, AJW, Scurvy and 1 other 2 1 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/153873-new-season-new-year-new-me/ Share on other sites
