This has been a brutal week with the recordings of my hockey games and it was especially tough last night.  The wife had seen enough of the Bruins getting their ass handed to them, and complained that it was going to be the fourth game in a row for a loss.  La Bruja made me cut the game short and switch it over to the Gold Cup that was recording.

 

I reluctantly relented and we watched the first part of that game until Finland scored and La Bruja said she was tired of watching hockey so I had to switch to the 1923 recordings.  After watching those, she switched it back to the WJC, and I could watch some more hockey.  That lasted for a while, pretty much until it was 3-1.  At which point, she said she has seen enough hockey and said she was going to bed.  Finally!!

 

The remote was now mine.  What to watch?  Well, I decided to go back to the Bruins game, which ended in a shoot out loss.  One point in four games, ugh!  So back to the other game and things got better.  In fact, when USA tied it up I had a fleeting moment of considering waking up the ice pack, but common sense ruled and I got to enjoy the game and the OT win.

 

Why did I share all of this?  Well, for the 2 TPE!!
