Gunner 165
In the first 10 games of the season, the Saskatoon Wild are off to a very hot start. The Wild are holding second place in the North American Conference of the VHLM with a record of 7-3-0. Some players have also stood out as the best in the league. Borje Samuelsson is sitting at 4 goals and 27 points. That's almost a 3 points per game average! He also has 18 blocked shots, and 45 hits. Niklas Kurri has 13 goals and 24 points. He has also racked up 39 hits, with 3 shot blocks. Kurri is probably the main source of the Wild's forward offence. Some other Wild players playing very well are Nicklas Karlsson (23 points), Travis Willcox (14 points), and Griffin Simons (13 points). Gunnar Skovsgard has been a solid presence in net, with 7 wins, a 0.911 save percentage! and a goals against average of 2.48. He currently has 1 shutout. Skovsgard shows no signs of improving anytime soon, but it may be better for the Wild that way.
